Despite the objections by the Paola Local Council, and industrial enterprises whose factories are located in the area, the Corporation is insisting on building the new fuel depot to store the country’s fuel supplies on this spot, at the heart of the Grand Harbour.
"Potentially, this is a lethal cocktail with devastating effect on a significant part of the popuation in the region" says a consultant to the Paola Local council
